THE STORY SO FAR
When you pray for a leader, ask for one in whose heart your dreams will find a home.

A leader who knows what you need, who is accessible, and whose kind countenance is matched by an unbridled capacity for empathy; a Builder of Hope who honours his promises and a visionary who can distinguish between the wish of the moment and what is best for the whole; a Navigator of Hard Decisions who knows when it hurts, why it hurts, and what must be done so that it does not hurt again
A leader under whose guidance the weak will find protection, the young will find a future, work will find reward, and enterprise will find room to flourish; a leader under whose authority ambition will bow to duty, power will answer to conscience, and the destiny of millions will never become secondary to the interests of a few;
above all, a leader who sees political office not as a throne to occupy, but as a step towards what is higher and better.
This leadership we pray for must find expression in the lives of the people. That is the purpose of this scorecard: to examine President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope reforms through the programmes, projects and interventions intended to turn public promises into practical progress. The story begins with the circumstances that shaped the need for change, follows the record across ten sectors, and looks ahead to the unfinished work of translating reform into enduring, widely shared prosperity. It is through this journey that the question of continuity in leadership deserves thoughtful consideration: how can the work begun be carried forward, strengthened and made to benefit more Nigerians?
